As one of the 11 World Showcase countries, Canada has been a part of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival since its inception in 1996. This year’s 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival takes place July 27 – November 18, 2023.

Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup served with a Pretzel Roll – $6.00
This soup is creamy and has bacon bits throughout. Hints of cheddar cheese make this the best soup on property. It is very hot out for soup, but it still hits the spot. We recommend dipping the pretzel bread into the soup. As good as it is, the price is still a bit high for the portion, but year after year, we keep coming back.
Canadian Filet Mignon served with Mushrooms, Boursin Black Truffle and Sea Salt Mashed Potatoes and a Boursin Black Truffle and Sea Salt Whipped Butter – $9.75
So this is the same filet mignon that they’ve had at the Canada Pavilion for a while, but they’ve changed it up a little bit with the addition of a new side. The mashed potatoes are very good, and we wish there were more of them. They’re beyond delicious! They have a cheesy flavor to them. We mixed in the butter with the potatoes, and they were even better. They’re perfectly rich and a great new addition which helps make us feel like we’re getting our money’s worth. The filet is cooked to about medium. It remains to be one of the best items, as it’s well-cooked with really good flavor and quality. (In all honesty, this dish almost taste too good to be at the festival, especially in terms of the high standard of the beef.) Compared to a lot of the other dishes, this filet is the king of the festival!
Collective Arts Audio/Visual Lager, Hamilton, Ontario (4.9% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $9.50 for 12 oz.
From Collective Arts Brewing: “Audio/Visual is brewed with pilsner malt and brown rice and cold aged for 4 weeks for the most refreshingly clean, and crisp finish possible. We use Wai-iti hops for fresh notes of lime and mandarin citrus to round out this easy drinking lager.”
*NEW* Château des Charmes Cabernet Sauvignon, Ontario ($13/bottle) – $7.50
Château des Charmes describes their Cabernet Sauvignon as “vibrant with mouth-watering black cherry, dark chocolate and warm spice notes wrapped in toasty vanilla. Classic old world style Cab Sauv.”
