Brightline has released a new drone video of progress on their rail expansion from Miami to Orlando International Airport.
The video, which is available on the Florida Today website, shows the track that has already been laid at the Orlando International Airport. It goes on to show the construction of a nearby vehicle maintenance facility and several more stretches of construction that will eventually become the railroad.
Brightline’s Orlando extension project covers 170 miles from West Palm Beach to Orlando International Airport with the project leading through Brevard County.
The high-speed rail will go on to connect the airport to Walt Disney World, possibly with a station at Disney Springs’ Orange Garage. However, this line won’t be completed until 2026 at the earliest.
