The party rolls on at Universal Studios Florida! New details have emerged about this year’s Mardi Gras festival, dubbed Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval.
Having become a popular feature of both Halloween and the holidays, the Tribute Store returns for Mardi Gras with exclusive in-park merchandise, food offerings, photo ops and three themed rooms, including:
- A hopping jazz parlor straight out of the 1920s with dueling pianos and bellowing brass
- A flower-filled nautical cemetery, where many sea captains were laid to rest
- A waterfront warehouse, where all manner of smuggled treasures and trinkets are stashed
Select merchandise will also be available online.
The fun continues around the parks! Pirate Treasure-themed floats will be found in select locations along with Universal’s classic Mardi Gras floats, including a special setup at Music Plaza Stage, which will offer three floats to take selfies by. While parades and concerts won’t be part of this year’s festival, street entertainment, roving musicians and bead giveaways will appear throughout the day. And if you’re a fan of scavenger hunts, you’re in luck! A special experience themed to Mardi Gras will be available. Pricing has not been announced yet.
