Disney Jollywood Nights, a new separately-ticked holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, commenced on November 10, bringing with it a number of exclusive entertainment options in addition to several party-specific food and beverage items. PizzeRizzo is serving several exclusive items that fit its Italian-American theme, as the restaurant’s Disney Jollywood Nights-specific menu includes the Meatball and Polenta, Olive and Goat Cheese Flatbread, Antipasto Flatbread, and Tiramisù Puff.
PizzeRizzo is located in the Grand Avenue section of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Meatball Polenta – $6.49
Giant Meatball with Marinara and Creamy Cheese Polenta
We don’t have anything negative to say about the Meatball Polenta other than it’s a bit unremarkable. The meatball is a solid size when compared to the price tag. It’s dense while still being tender, serving as a tasty base for the standard, though flavorful marinara.
The meatball and sauce pair well with the dollop of polenta they’re sat upon. The polenta is mostly creamy but does have a bit of texture at times. The dish is topped with grated parmesan cheese, which effectively ties the entire meal together with its sharp tang and complementary flavor.
There’s nothing necessarily earth-shattering about this dish, but it’s quite good, and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed if it sounds appetizing to you. We were also quite impressed by the value — you get a fair bit of food for less than $7.
Olive and Goat Cheese Flat Bread – $5.49
Olive Oil-toasted Flatbread, Creamy Goat Cheese, Rustic Olive and Tomato Spread, Balsamic Glaze, and Lemon Watercress
This dish came so close to threading the needle and effectively balancing what is a litany of strong flavors, but it just barely misses the mark. The flatbread features no shortage of toppings, as there are sizeable helpings of sliced olives and roasted red peppers placed atop the dish. These flavors are powerful on their own, and they compete against the olive-oil toasted flatbread, goat cheese, and olive and tomato spread.
There are a lot of strong flavors, and instead of complementing one another, they compete for supremacy. The olives, red peppers, goat cheese, and spread are flavorful on their own, but they’re individually noticeable and don’t blend into a cohesive flavor. Combine this with the undercooked flatbread, and you have a dish that’s less than the sum of its parts. We wanted to love this flatbread, but all of the flavors overpower themselves. There’s just too much going on.
Antipasto Flatbread – $5.99
Fresh Mozzarella, Salami, Pepperoni, Country Ham, Olives, Peppers, Onions, Pepperoncini, and Marinara
If you’ve ever wondered what a supreme pizza would taste like with less cheese, the Antipasto Flatbread may provide an answer for you. This flatbread looks as though the chef just threw every ingredient within a three-mile radius of them onto a piece of dough, but it surprisingly works.
The meats are tasty and have a surprising, but welcomed, kick, with this heat complementing the tanginess of the marinara. The peppers and pepperoncini aid in this spice, and while it would have been nice to have a bit more cheese to offset the heat, we’re not complaining. This is a solid, but again unremarkable dish; if this sounds like something you’d enjoy, it likely won’t miss the mark for you.
Tiramisù Puff – $4.79
Sweet-and-Savory with Flavors of Espresso, Chocolate, and a Coffee-Infused Custard and Mascarpone Cream
This may be the only unequivocal miss on the Disney Jollywood Nights-exclusive menu at PizzeRizzo. We noticed no coffee flavor whatsoever — in fact, the most prevalent flavor is Amareto. The pastry itself is dense and gluey, as though it was previously frozen and not effectively thawed out.
The cream on top of the “puff” (we’re not sure why they called it that, as there’s nothing “puffy” about it) is as mild as it is mundane. It’s even a bit oily, which isn’t something we expected or wanted from this treat. If you’re really craving tiramisù, this may do in a pinch, but we think there are better event-exclusive treats available elsewhere at Disney Jollywood Nights.
