Shanghai Disney Resort Celebrates World Health Day By Showing Gratitude To Medical Professionals

When Shanghai Disney Resort temporarily closed on January 25th, Disney fans across the globe feared the worst, and for good reason. Shanghai Disney Resort was the first park to close its gates due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, followed by Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Walt Disney World Resort.

Since the worldwide parks closures, The Walt Disney Company has been lending a hand to those in need, whether it be donating excess food to food banks or masks and ponchos to hospitals. However, sometimes even just a few kind words is all it takes to give a gloomy day a touch of pixie dust sparkle.

Such optimism can be found in Shanghai Disney Resort’s recent Instagram post, encouraging fans to celebrate World Health Day by showing their gratitude to medical professionals, far and wide.

In addition, the Enchanted Storybook Castle was pictured, donning a multitude of projected “Thank You’s” in several different languages.

While the Disney parks are sorely missed throughout these polarizing times, we must thank Shanghai Disney Resort for putting things into perceptive and shedding light on what is really important.
