Welcome to the NEW WDW News Today, Now with Disneyland!

Welcome to the NEW WDW News Today, Now with Disneyland!

Feb 25, 2013

Over the last five-and-a-half years, WDW News Today has grown from a single site into an entire network of Disney-inspired websites and podcasts. Over that time, we have had plenty of successes and a few failures. Over the last year or so, we have discussed the concept of bringing together all of the websites and podcasts run by WDWNT under one roof, and integrating them all into one website. I am proud to say that our technical team has made that dream a reality with the new WDWNewsToday.com. The first obvious change in our operations will be the closure of Disneyland News Today, WDWNTunes, and WDWNT: The Magazine. All of the services offered by these sites will continue, but they will do so on WDW News Today.com. For the past few weeks, WDWNT visitors have been able...

Disneyland News Today Turns 5 Years Old! – February 8th, 2013

Today marks 5 years since the launch of Disneyland News Today. DLNT was formed on February 8th, 2008, just as many projects began in the huge expansion of Disney California Adventure. Our mission was to follow that expansion from start to finish, tackling what was arguably the most exciting project in Disney history. From the opening of Toy Story Midway Mania, to the debut of World of Color, to the first side-by-side race through Radiator Springs, we covered it all. We were taken to new heights aboard Mickey’s Fun Wheel, took a swing in a Silly Symphony, and played with our PIXAR pals. In that time, we also saw the original Disney Park grow, evolve, and change in many ways. We were there for the return of the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough and Captain...

Welcome Emily Weasley As New Lead Reporter For Disneyland News Today

We have been aware over the past few months that news posting here on DLNT has slowed considerably. This is completely my fault as I have been increasingly busy in my personal life and this site kept getting shoved down on my priority list. This is why we announced a few weeks ago that I am stepping down as lead reporter of Disneyland News Today and began searching for the perfect individual to continue bringing you the Ideals, Dreams, and Hard Facts of the Disneyland Resort daily here on disneylandnewstoday.com. I would like to formally welcome Emily Weasley to Disneyland News Today as our new Lead Reporter. She will be handling the daily posting on the website bringing you news from the Disneyland Resort as well as posting our photo reports from the parks. I am not...

WDWNT’s Annual Tradition Is Bigger Than Ever with 30 Hour Live Show to Benefit Toys for Tots!

The holiday season is once again upon us and as usual, it’s a time where we should think about those who are less fortunate than we are and try to make a difference in their lives. Over 60 years ago, Walt Disney became one of the original sponsors of the Toys for Tots foundation, which ensures that every underprivileged child receives a toy during the holiday season. Walt and his animators personally designed the original Toys for Tots train logo that is still used today and the first poster created for Toys for Tots. In this spirit, WDW News Today, the WDWNT Network, and our many friends and partners are putting on a 30-hour live broadcast to raise money for Toys for Tots. That’s right, in honor of Epcot’s 30th anniversary, we are expanding from 24 to 30 hours...

NOW HIRING: Lead Reporter for Disneyland News Today

As of lately, The Disneyland News Today website has not been living up to its original expectations. This is mostly due to myself and my lack of time to donate to posting on the site and keeping up with the daily news. That is why I am stepping down as lead reporter of the Disneyland News Today website and as of immediately we are beginning our search for a new lead reporter to post news daily on the Disneyland News Today website. We are looking for someone who is extremely familiar with the Disneyland Resort and visits the parks often. Position is voluntary. If you would like to apply for the position please email wdwnewstoday@gmail.com and please put DLNT Lead Reporter in the subject line. Conner Purzycki VP of Disneyland News...
