Fantasmic! and World of Color are set to return to Disneyland Resort in 2022. The shows used to perform nightly before the parks closed last March due to COVID-19. They will return alongside the Main Street Electrical Parade, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The exact dates were not announced yet.
While little work has been visible, the refurbishment of World of Color is ongoing at Disney California Adventure. The platforms housing the fountains for World of Color have been raised near the Pixar Pal-a-Round. It seems the fountains are being refurbished or having maintenance performed. World of Color is not currently running at Disney California Adventure and no return has been announced.
