Better late than never, here are some updates from around the Magic Kingdom during the last few weeks:

Very Nice

Cinderella’s Golden Carousel looked great after its refurbishment

These new very nice loading gates were added during the short refurbishment

A lot of details on these gates, including some very nice etchings on the top

A picture of City Hall, still missing its top during the May 26 Pirate and Princess Party

The Carousel of Progress poster we talked about a few months ago has finally shown up on both sides of the entrance to the show. This may again support rumors of the attraction being re-made to reflect the original 1964 version from the New York World’s Fair.

Work continues on the underground power-lines between Adventureland and Frontierland

Despite now being only a seasonal dining location, the Golden Horseshoe is receiving a little bit of a touch-up

A picture of The Mad Tea Party, closed for refurbishment on May 28

Work on the columns near the piano outside of Casey’s Corner

The pin cart on Main Street U.S.A. has been moved for the first time in almost a decade, leaving a giant stain on the street

Not sure what the story is here. Is this the new permanent location for the cart and is that why there is construction going on behind it? Or is the cart there to cover-up the work on the WDW Railroad Station?

We’ll have to wait and see what the answer is….
