Jose Castillo’s 11/29/08 WDW Photo Update

Here is the final part of Jose Castillo’s photo update from his latest trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. On his last day, Jose visited two of the WDW parks with plenty to report:

Beginning at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the day

The tree outside the park

Some more decorations

The Tree of Life

Primeval Whirl has opened a little early from it’s extended refurbishment

Fastpass was not operating

The ride looks refreshed and seems to have added extra supports

Seems even messier

Moving over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios now…

I’m still questioning the look of the stripes on the Sorcerer’s Hat

“Jim Henson’s” is still gone from Muppetvision

Don’t expect to see it return as Disney plans to market the Muppets as their own

A quick look at the audition area for the American Idol Experience

It features the same signage as you’ll see on the front of the building

The American Idol Experience facade at night

A nice addition to what can be a rather dead park in the evening

80 minute wait for Toy Story Midway Mania

A few months ago they added this strange net above the entrance to the indoor queue, very strange….

The nightlight is getting a little dirty

And now some pictures from the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights

New maps for the season at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

Inside the Magic Kingdom map, a picture of the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor has been added

They are also calling the Disney Dreams Come True Parade “Magic on Parade” for some reason

We’ll end this final report with a video of the Dancing Lights at the Studios, thanks for all the updates Jose!!!
