Myrna Litt had a very interesting trip to the Disneyland Resort yesterday, and she shares these pictures with us:
Changes are afoot…
All of the gondolas have been installed on Mickey’s Fun Wheel.
Workers in the lagoon.
That stuff in the lagoon is pretty big!
Something looks different.
Work has begun on the sunburst.
Work going on at King Triton’s Carousel.
This new Games of the Boardwalk sign has been put up.
Work is ahead of schedule on the Games of the Boardwalk, and they are now scheduled to open on April 7th.
Here you can see the new colors of the gondolas. They look to be much better colors than before.
Myrna got broken down on Mulholland Madness and had to get evaced off. This presented an excellent opportunity for photos!
An up close look at the Grand Californian Disney Vacation Club villas.
Smile for the camera Mr. Evacer!
Rubble in the future amphitheater.
Easter merchandise in Greetings From California.
Now off into Disneyland.
It’s Goofy and Pluto!
Looks like more re-paving is happening on Main Street.
Wow, somebody needs to empty this trash-can!
The re-paving work at Big Thunder Trail.
Disneyland: The First 50 Magical Years is now closed.
Back over to DCA… Here you can see the foundations for the future boardwalk queue for Silly Symphony Swings.
The new Paradise Pier sign’s night-time lighting is really awesome!
Mickey’s Fun Wheel work.
This side of Paradise Pier is starting to look really good, except for King Triton’s Carousel construction of course.
California Screamin’s sign really needs to be changed ASAP.
No real visible progress at the future home of Cocina Cucamonga.
Myrna took 3 consecutive shots of the changing colors at the Disney Animation facade, all from the exact same spot.
Thanks for your interesting photo report Myrna!
