Since we received a very positive reaction to the last few photo reports I’ve provided featuring merchandise and the World of Disney New York store, I figured I would share some findings from my latest journey to 5th Avenue:
The entrance doors are covered with these cool decorations celebrating the DVD and Blu-ray release of Pinocchio
The opposite doors
The current in-store promotion
Very cute Easter 2009 Walt Disney World Thumper plush
A Thumper bag
Matching Mickey and Minnie plush
The pin rack full of Walt Disney World pins
The color pricing stickers for pins have also come to New York
A lot of the women’s fashions sold at the new Tren-D store are available here
More of the “hip/trendy” choices
A really cool collection of rubber theme park characters for just $12.95. I obviously bought it :)
A limited edition pen set for St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and Valentines Day
Yes, I said Limited Edition. They are limited to 5000 pieces.
A really cool new Dumbo big figure
It also features Timothy and the Crows
Just like the Bambi big figure we showed you a few months ago, this one is priced at $195
The Toy Story Midway Mania barker Mr. Potato Head plush has made its way to New York
There is still plenty of park series 1 Vinylmation pieces at the store
Plenty of 3 inch pieces to go around
Plenty of 9 inch pieces as well
The Haunted Mansion double pack sits waiting for purchase
In case you were wondering what the inside of a 3 inch Vinylmation figure box contains, heres a look at one piece I opened a few weeks ago when I purchased a sealed case of park series 1. The metallic bag over the pieces is useless, as a loose card reveals what is inside anyway.
A very cool Cinderella Castle picture
A new Disney Traditions piece featuring Maleficent as a dragon
My new favorite thing to collect has to be the Olszewski Gallery of Light pieces. It’s actually affordable to collect them all.
One of the newer pieces features Ariel
The Sleeping Beauty piece is also a recent release
