Myrna Litt’s 4/27/09 Photo Report

Our next photo report comes to us from our very own Myrna Litt:

A random small construction wall in the Hub

Pirates of the Caribbean is closed for a short refurbishment through April 30th

I wonder what this camera on top of the Matterhorn is for?

The fountains at the former Cosmic Waves are being removed, however the big spinning ball in the middle will remain

It’s so dead!

With the Astro Orbitor closed for a big refurbishment, wouldn’t it be awesome if it returned to on top of the PeopleMover station!?

Speaking of the Astro Orbitor…

The Astro Orbitor has been stripped down even more bare bones

I believe the rest of the thematic structures on the Astro Orbitor have since been removed

Pixie Hollow’s regular queue area will probably remain walled off until early June

Walt Disney’s star at the Anaheim Walk of Fame just outside the Disneyland Resort on Harbor Blvd.

Monorail Blue at the Downtown Disney station

It’s so beautiful!

Myrna said the Food and Wine festivities were empty yesterday

World of Color construction

An up-close look at each of the Mickey’s Fun Wheel gondolas

Workers just happened to be installing the Swinging and Non-Swinging signs when Myrna was walking by

The main attraction sign was installed over-night last night

A side profile of the Fun Wheel

More World of Color construction

Silly Symphony Swings prep work

They’re loading stuff into the Grand Californian Disney Vacation Club building via these temporary red elevators

Thanks for the report Myrna!
