WDWNT Reporter Brandon Struve took a special trip to Epcot this morning to check out “The Sum of All Thrills”, a new Innoventions exhibit sponsored by Raytheon that we first told you about earlier this year:

“The Sum of All Thrills” opened inside of Innoventions East/Blue earlier today

The attraction begins in the briefing room, where the full process from creation to ride-through is explained

Following the pre-show, you take the card you were given earlier and swipe it to create your ride

Your ride can range between three levels of intensity: Bobsled, Roller Coaster, and Jet

Brandon chose the most extreme option, the Jet

You are given an interactive ruler…

and an interactive knob

These tools help you control the height and speed of certain portions of your ride

You create your ride piece by piece and adjust them as you like. You need to use math to get your vehicle to complete the course

A look at the interactive work spaces

After completing their designs and putting personal items in a locker, guests board these KUKA arm simulators

A shell comes down over guests so they can see the ride they created as the arm twists, turns, and drops you according to your design

As you can see, the Jet can be pretty intense

A closer look at one of the KUKA arms

Brandon put together a short video showcasing the ongoing Epcot place-making project and “The Sum of All Thrills”, embedded via the WDWNTube

Moving outside, paving continues on the blue side of Innoventions

Brandon then decided to visit The Land

Living with the Land recently re-opened from refurbishment

The line was long even though nothing in the attraction has changed

As you can see, the line for “The Sum of All Thrills” got pretty long later in the day, so you may want to do this attraction early

Audio from “The Sum of All Thrills” pre-show, as well as a full walk-through of the attraction, will be available on episode 114 of the WDW News Today Podcast, which is scheduled to be released tomorrow.
