Chuck Canzoneri’s 11/19/09 Photo Report

It’s once again time for a photo report from our very own Chuck Canzoneri:

Let’s go to Disneyland!

Mickey gift wraps the “C” of the DCA CALIFORNIA letters

And here’s Goofy hanging off the “A”

The section of the Performance Corridor from Pacific Wharf to the San Francisco street restrooms has been blocked off to allow for additional construction on the World of Color viewing area, as well as some re-paving

The only way to get from A Bug’s Land and the Golden Vine Winery to Paradise Pier is through Pacific Wharf

The walls create an incredibly narrow pathway

Holiday decorations at the entrance to Pacific Wharf

Three different sets of walls surround you in this area of the park

Not much going on here yet

Re-filling of the Paradise Bay lagoon seems to have stopped for now

A look at Santa’s Seaside Pavilion, new this year

Construction on the new wheelchair and stroller rental center

The holidays are in full swing on Main Street USA

Chuck took a look at some of the Christmas merchandise

This ornament was real cool, with some subtle lighting inside

The Jungle Cruise was closed for routine maintenance this week

Some lucky family just got a ride ticket for Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee

The technicians for Disneyland’s great new show

Chuck has become a big fan of Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee

The procession heading back through New Orleans Square

Holiday decorations on the Splash Mountain barn

Decorations at Santa’s Reindeer Round-up are both new and old this year

You wouldn’t want to get struck by those big horns, would you? 😉

This cartoon surrounding the Reindeer pen seemed quite troublesome…

This disturbingly sad panel appears to be the end of the story. You have to walk all the way around the pen to find the rest of the story and a happy ending

The walls were down at the Casey Jr. Circus Train and the ride was in testing phase. It re-opened to guests today (Friday, November 20th)

Storybook Land walls have come down as well

Everything looks fresh and new

The bricks have been re-painted

Cool decorations in Mickey’s Toontown

Christmas decorations around the Gag Factory include creme pies

Donald Duck and Goofy were out in their holiday finest

Now for some shots of A Christmas Fantasy Parade

The new Tigger and Pooh sleds. I really like the blue light underneath

Poor Eeyore’s sled is broken 🙁

A nice little detail on Eeyore’s sled

The Christmas wonder that is Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle

Some nice bright lights on the tip of the Castle’s spires

One tower is not decorated for some reason

Now for some pictures of Believe in Holiday Magic

Disneyland really is amazingly beautiful at this time of year!

Merry Christmas Walt!

The Main Street stores closed with the rest of the park

There was a special holiday party immediately following park closing

Thanks for your report Chuck!
