Matt Paul’s 3/27/10 Fantasyland Update

Matt Paul made a visit to the Magic Kingdom a few days ago and has some photos of Fantasyland to share with us. While the larger construction projects for the Fantasyland Forest expansion have not begun, there is plenty going on in the area:

Tree clearing behind Fantasyland is visible from the Walt Disney World Railroad

We can see dirt has been moved behind these trees

The smaller walls in Fantasyland have come down to reveal new pavment

For some reason, there is a number of pole holders in place

Could there be a line for something forming here?

Either Cinderella had a security camera put in, or Disney is tracking the Fantasyland Expansion in video

Castle Couture has absorbed the former Tinker Bell’s Treasures

A look inside the store

The portrait area for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique lies behind the curtains

The store once again has a passage to the pre-existing Castle Couture

Work continues on the bottom portion of Cinderella Castle

Don’t forget that you can follow the Fantasyland Expansion from start to finish using WDWNT’s “Fantasyland Forest Expansion Project Tracker“!!!
