Brandon Struve’s 7/19/10 Epcot Photo Report

WDWNT Reporter Brandon Struve made a trip over to Epcot last night to see what’s new and exciting around the park, and luckily for us, he took a few photos to share with us:

I see you….

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience was removed…. by a piece of tape…

Captain EO remains open until 9PM while the rest of the pavilion closes at 7PM

Another look inside the pre-show area

Nice carpet

Really pulling in the crowds….

Updated map outside the pavilion

Merchandise sales seem a bit sluggish in Florida, it’s hard to get near the shelves in California

Work continues on Hacienda de San Angel

Via Napoli is now visible across the lagoon

Donald’s new meet and greet outside the Mexico pavilion is now complete

The Goebel store in Germany has closed to be replaced with a Werther’s candy shop

The store had not featured a new piece of merchandise in over 5 years, so this isn’t much of a surprise

A new exhibit has replaced “Timeless Beauty” in the Japan pavilion

It’s called “Spirited Beasts” and celebrates Anime

Drangonball characters

Hello Kitty!

Not sure what this is…

New banners outside

Over in Italy, Via Napoli is out from behind tarps as it prepares to open August 5th

COLOR!!! Sorry, wrong park… for now…

A new Siemens sign on the barges for Illuminations

Directional signs in World Showcase? Really?

It took almost 30 years, but it happened

They look nice

Isn’t the monorail a given if the exit is this way? We spoil the guests…

A cool EO sign shot

Goodnight Epcot
