Cody Smith’s 9/17/10 Magic Kingdom Photo Report

WDWNT Reporter Cody Smith visited the Magic Kingdom earlier today and grabbed a few photos of work in Fantasyland. Different from usual, there is actually visible progress on the Fantasyland Forest expansion! Let’s take a look:

Installation of the Castle Dreamlights has begun

Ask a Cast Member, those guys are Cinderella’s personal contractors…

If the Fairy Godmother has a magic wand, couldn’t she just magically hang the lights?

Workers on the back of the castle as well, but more on this later

The Fantasyland dirt pile still stands

There seems to be a lot more activity back there though

The scaffolding has finally come down from the Pooh’s Playful Spot tree, but more on the Pooh facade in a bit

Disclaimer: they are not WDW News Today employees…

The cranes loom over Fantasyland

The Fantasyland progress camera is now staring at a crane…

If you see grown men sitting alone on Dumbo in the next few months, they probably work for WDWNT….

I can’t remember a time we’ve seen so many workers out behind the walls

That ditch is supposedly a new Cast Member access tunnel

Grass is starting to grow back there…

Back over to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh where we have a small preview of the new facade!

Tents move out for rocks and bricks to give a 100 Acre Woods feel to the area

With this disaster inside the queue, you have to wonder how the workers are able to change anything with all these walls in the way

It feels like they are remodeling Walmart….

Looks like all of the giant pages will be history

Another look outside at what’s to come
