Conner Purzycki’s 3/6/11 DLR Photo Report

I was at Disneyland yesterday to have a look all the construction around the resort and captured a plethora of newsworthy photos to share. Photos include Buena Vista Street, Little Mermaid, Goofy’s Sky School, and much more…

Time to Let the Memories Begin

The Main Street repaving project is complete

Star Tours getting some exterior TLC before its May Re-launch

A UFO has been sighted in Tomorrowland

Going to be a DVC stand

Star Trader is closed for some interior work. You can buy merchandise at the Starcade.

Work walls in Tomorrowaland

The Honda exhibit at the top of the stairs is gone in Innoventions

Really?

The Columbia is currently stuck in Fowler’s Harbor. The track switch to go into the dock has been damaged. As of today, the Columbia has been Dry Docked in Fowler’s Harbor and Fantasmic! was canceled on Sunday. The Mark Twain is still operating daily. No word on when the repairs will be complete by Disney.

Took a walk over to The Disneyland Hotel, the stairs and support for the monorail slides has been placed

Not sure if these have been up since the tower reopened, but the Dreams Tower has “Adventure Tower” signage in it

Nice details

It was still labeled as the Dreams Tower in the lobby

The Magic Tower has begun its transformation into the Fantasy Tower

Glass Panels waiting to be placed

These windows look a little different from the 2 other towers

Let the Memories Begin banners in front of the hotel

Time Lapse camera

Cheer leading competition in the Lilo parking lot

Pan-Pacific Turnstiles structure is up

The giant dirt pile is gone

Whhhaaaat….

Because Fantasmic was canceled that night, I was able to take a night excursion aboard the Mark Twain and get pictures over the work walls in Frontierland

I decided to watch Remember from Small World last night and the projections for the show look great since the new projectors came in for Magic, Memories, and You
