Well, Goof Troop is sold out, but there are two other sets that just went up on DisneyStore.com that you can purchase. Two 9″ sets from Urban 6 were released today. The Casey Jones Moai statue is only $39.95 and has a run of 800. The Thomas Scott 9″/3″ Angel and Devil set are priced at $74.95 and there are only 1000 of them. And right now, they are both still available!

I ddin’t sleep hoping to just buy one set for my son who is currently in Disney world on a vacation. He is an avid collector of Vinyls and he has been waiting for this day to get this Goof Troop.I went online since 12 mn until 2:50 and it was not yet available. I tried again at 3:15 am and it was already sold out! I can’t understand why that would happen. You are absolutely right- people were allowed to buy in large quantities! I sent a complaint to Disney Store. They should have limited the number people can buy… I am absolutely disappointed.
I agree with you Kevin, terrible release. I wanted to get one set as well because my wife really loves Goofy. I was waiting for the moment it went up & refreshing every couple of minutes, & it wasn’t up more than a min or two & I never had the chance to add to cart. As for the other release I do like the Angel/Devil but I gotta save money for the Alien Encounter & UP! Hope the release on those goes smoother, incidents like this are pushing me more & more to be only a 9″ collector.
GOOF TROOPS: I placed my order, got my email confirmation, and now I got off the phone with Disney and they said that my order was cancelled because they sold out. They never did put a limit of 2 per person on the Goof Troop, like they usually do with limited releases, and now there are people who ordered 6-8-10 sets, and others were left with a “FALSE EMAIL ORDER CONFIRMATION.” This is why limited edition releases need to be left to D-Street ONLY.
