A few upcoming 9″ Urban 7 figures were shown off at D23 on Friday. Here is a look.
This 9″ King Tut is part of a 9/3 combo. It will retail for $74.95 and is LE 1500.
The 3″ King Tut is a depiction from outside the sarcophagus. This combo will release in November.
Disney calls this 9″ figure “Monster”. We saw this in Jumbo pin form earlier in the year.
This is another figure we saw coming, 9″ Color Bar. We inferred this released based on the 3″, Jr., Ear Hat combo released earlier this year.
I do like the egyptian set, fantastic detail and great extra with the crook, the 3″ though lacks creativity being a near replica of the 9″. I can see it being popular so the high LE is justifiable.
On the other hand colour bars is a let down, passable as a 3″ but a 9″? Unless there is something cool on the back, if not this will sit on shelves for a while.
I’m not into ear hat combos, so the Color Bar 9″ is great in my opinion. Very nostalgic:)
Don’t know why but not too thrilled with these Urban 9. The King Tut 9′ Vinyl is awesome but the 3′ not so much. Maybe Disney is more concerns about volume of releases as oppposited to quality of releases!! If true that is sad
