I just went to my local Disney Store and I bought the last they had in stock. I was very surprised about this set being sold so quick. I love it though!!
Anyone know how limited these are?
It being a Limited Release means in theory it will be around for probably a few months, even a year or more in some cases. Disney never releases numbers on things that are not Limited Edition.
Just picked my Spooky 1 Vinyls up at my local Disney Store and I must say these are just awesome! High quality figures! According to cast members at my store they received 38 of these and all but 2 were sold as of 6:00 PM EST. I guess we’ll see what Limited Release really means? Will the stores get more in future shipments or is this it?
Wow, I didn’t drive 100 miles to pick up these NEW mold creatures at my nearest Disney Store Like I did Urban 7, Urban 6, Urban 5, Urban 4, Have A Laugh, Toy Story, Cutesters, Villains 1, Animation 1, nor Muppets 2. Look at all that money I saved. I saved enough to buy a few Vinylmations that look GREAT on the OLD mold!!!

Why are their ears clear? I don’t get it.
When the ears are clear, you are to imagine that there is really NOTHING there. In other words, in “real life” Frankenstein and his Bride do not actually have ears on top of their heads.
I get why there are clear ears on vinylmations, but aren’t these supposed to Mickey AS Frankstein, not just Frankenstein? Shouldn’t Mickey have ears?
I’m Liking the look with the hair off. Thanks for some pics with the hair taken off. I really want to see these in person.
i broke down. i got it. it was actually well designed. one of the few on the new mold i feel that way about.
I love these! The Brandon, FL Disney store only received 18 according to cast member, as of 3pm yesterday there were still 9 left. I kinda wish they did something special under the hair, like someone suggested once before. Even so, this set rocks in my book!
There is still an awful lot at my local Disney Store too in PA. I expected these to sell so quickly, but I went and got my box as soon as possible! So excited about them. Can’t wait too see the next set in this spooky series – whenever that may be.
These are great! I bought two sets so I could de-box one. To Brad B-if you’re going to judge this series based ONLY on the mold, then don’t buy it-you’re the one missing out on a great set based on stupid criteria.
Kathleen….every one of MY vinyl collector friends don’t care for the new mold. I didn’t say every vinylmation collector doesn’t like the new mold. To each his own. If you think my criteria of not buying anything on the new mold is stupid, that is your highly qualified opinion. As I have stated in the past, I don’t care for the chipmunk cheek, beer belly new mold. I enjoy a lot of the artwork of the new designs, but I won’t be buying ANY. If you want to buy duplicates of them all, have at it! It’s your choice.
Brad just needs to ether A get over the new mold or B stop buying it. Me and many others don’t want to hear you complain anymore. Please give it a rest. Love the set. Amazing detail
I, Brad, A) won’t get over it and B) haven’t bought any new molds. We both have choices here. I choose not to buy new mold vinyls and you have a choice not to read any report that is from Brad B!

I love the detail of lots of the new designs, I just don’t care for the media it is presented on. Same basis of me liking to buy black or navy Disney TShirts, but not liking to buy pink ones. Doesn’t make me a bad guy. I just don’t like it. I don’t rag on you, so please don’t rag on me. My dislike is of the new mold. Not the Disney artists, the designs, the places where vinyls are sold, or the collectors. I simply want DIsney to bring back some OLD mold releases every once in awhile. They serve Coke and Sprite. Why not sell old AND new mold vinyls?
It is absolutely your right not to buy anything on the new mold (or buy pink shirts – whatever) but what is making everyone upset at you is that you post your opinion on EVERY thread about a new vinyl. We KNOW that you don’t like the new mold – OK already! We get it!
Everyone else here just wants to talk about the designs coming up – generally in a positive way – and your negative attitude all the time is getting really old and tired.
Tell you what Carol, I will just post on the OLD mold entries in the future. That way, I won’t bother you with my stand on the OLD mold. Our country was founded on people who were passionate about certain ideas that were good. I feel that way about the OLD mold. If you don’t want to hear me write, then PLEASE don’t read entries that start with Brad B.

It’s the new way of doing things. Deal with it and show the respect for the artists instead of giving them a hard time over such a small decision.
As I stated before and many times before, I love the artists drawings and artwork. It is fabulous! I have the utmost respect for all of them.
Love these. Really pleased I picked up a set of these and I can’t wait to see what the next ones are in this series.
