This is another “dumpster dive” from a Hong Kong seller, but it appears that the Gummi Bears will be a future installment in the Disney Afternoon series! No official word from Disney at this time. We even joked about this set in our Dee Vee Award Show! This is great news for Disney Afternoon cartoon fans. What are your thoughts on the designs? I’d have to assume Zummi will come with a hat. What will it look like? A feather in the cap or painted on? His spectacles and golden “G” look great. Cubbi’s hat looks a bit weird flat like that, but the feather painted on the ear looks great.

Also notice it’s in the old mold! Making a comeback, now that we have seen the Silly Symphony Swings in old mold, and potentially this set?
I wish the old mold was making a comeback. It could be the new new mold, but I figure these were already made before the switch over. It would be nice for disney to come to their senses and bring it back. Still hoping!
Gummi Bears was a great show – great set of vinyls! And seeing them on the old mold makes this even better!
I really like the fact that a few new OLD mold vinyls are stirring around. It keeps my hope alive that Disney will revive the OLD mold on a consistent basis. That said, I agree Cubbi’s hat doesn’t really fit the character. They should make a 3D accessory for it. That would be nice.
The hat looks almost like hair — I agree should have been accessory. This gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, Haunted Mansion will be old mold…please!
