Park Starz Trading at D-Street

We have heard many reports of guests pulling Park Starz out of the mystery trading boxes around Walt Disney World. There has never been any confirmation as to if Disney planted them or guests traded them in. But this week, Disney is testing an official Park Starz only clear trading box.

This clear box is located at D-Street Orlando and holds 2 Park Starz. Trading rules remain the same, one trade per guest, per visit into this box. Of course you can only trade a Park Starz, not a Mickey mold Vinylmation. I know trading got me over my hesitation to by Vinylmation in the first place, if you are on the fence about Park Starz, does this push you over the edge?

I don’t know about you, but there are times when planning a Disney vacation can be overwhelming! There are so many options, where to stay, when to go, is this the best price. So, I want to introduce you all to Cindy Minor and the team at Small World Big Fun. They will help you plan your Disney vacation for FREE. Contact them today!

  • Good move by Disney allowing Park Starz to be traded at the Parks! Trading allows the opportunity for collectors to obtain a particular figure without having to purchase an entire tray or multiple blind boxes. Plus it allows you to interact with Cast Members and/or other collectors!

    • Agreed! And it’s a great marketing move by Disney. I for sure have ran over and bought another blind box because I saw one I wanted in the clear display at the register and had no traders with me.

  • I made the first trade at D Street and got a Constance I replaced it with a squid. I see that there are others in the photo so I guess someone wanted the squid. Keep it up Disney

  • I was there today in hopes of trading my Park Starz Small World and Squid and they said they didn’t do that. They didn’t have any Park Starz to trade. :(

    • It was pulled out very recently. It does suck because I’m sure there’s people like me who didn’t knew there was a PS trade box to begin with. I do hope it returns to D-Street, but I want to see something similar at the parks. DAK, for example, had plenty of clear trade boxes but disappeared within the past year. Maybe they can be repurposed with Park Starz instead.

      • I have a small world boy and 20,000 squid to trade. I need the bride, PI guy, tiki bird, and Big Al. Anyone want to trade?

  • I never got a Park Starz out of the Mystery box while at WDW, only in the clear case. I have everybody but Abe and it took many tries to get them all. I trade a lot of Country Bears lol

    • That was only at the beginning. Now they have that clear box you mentioned for the 1 park starz for 1 park starz trading.

    • When we talked to the Disney artists at the Florida Project they very much thought there would be a Park Starz Set each year.
