It’s Buzz Lightyear! I love it! Thanks to eBay seller hawaiian_seaside for the picture. Check out the full Romantic Treats set here. Also on eBay, from seller seanb9109, is a picture of the second chaser from this set.
He calls it Unibearsity. I can see the A+ in the ear, but I haven’t figured out what character it is yet. Any ideas?
Update: 2/23/11 Our friend Ryan just texted me that UniBEARsity is a Japanese bear product line wiht several bears with dessert names. It is also associated with everyone’s favorite Duffy! Here is a screen shot from the Japan Disney Store Online:

For those unfamiliar, the Disney UniBEARsity is a Japan-only (likely forever) product line about the strangely animated stuffed bears Mocha and Pudding, based on Mickey and Minnie, with more bear versions of classic Disney characters appearing in the storybook. The UniBEARsity bears were born from Mickey and the gang’s homework assignment for Professor Ludwig Von Drake – and a healthy sprinkling of pixie dust. Check my DuffyClo blog for details. If you read a bit, you’ll see that at first I was really excited, then less than impressed with the background story. The fact remains, though, that this uniform (and its gorgeous logo) is my #1 dream fantasy costume for Duffy and now that it’s here, I could not be more excited! They even made a brilliant last minute change – the original design has been like this for months:

Out of this world…I see what you did there.
With the “university” theme to the other one, the first thing that comes to my mind is not “bears” but “monsters” since Monsters, Inc. 2 is based on them in their university days. But without a more clear image, it’s tough to say. Granted MI 2 isn’t even out until next year, but that’s all I’ve got.
Interestingly enough, the characters from UniBEARsity are named Mocha, Whip, Pudding, and Puffy.
