The story of the Disney Afternoon sets gets more weird all the time. This morning fans woke up to some Goof Troop Disney Afternoon sets sitting available at DisneyStore.com. As of this post, they are marked as Sold Out.
How a warehouse worker stumbled upon a few more of these wildly popular LE 1000 sets is beyond me, but it adds another page to the Disney Afternoon sets interesting history. Were you lucky enough to snag one? If you can have a shot, however brief the window, at purchasing any other previously released Disney Afternoon set online, what would it be?
I tried hours ago and it still said “Add to Cart” but when I clicked it said sold out. I’d love to know if anyone actually was able to purchase one.
I saw this at 4am pst, and when I tried to add to cart it said it wasn’t available for purchase. :(
I’d get myself a second RR set. I’d love one for my Desk at work.
I can confirm they sold out early. My wife checked at 5:30 central time and they were gone. At this point I’d take a second of any of them. Still needing a first of Tale Spin and RR though. Those would be priority.

I bought one at 1:25am PT. I’m sure it was a glitch but if they really did have some, I’m hoping I’m one of the few lucky ones that were able to get it. If I had to get any others, it would be Talespin and RR.
I bought one after someone posted on FB just after 1am. Paid for it & thought “Yippee” but was then knocked back down to earth when I checked my order a couple of hours later to find out that it had been removed :(
Emailed customer service & they confirmed that I had indeed not received one…

DS.com did the same thing with the Haunted Mansion Hat/Vinylmation/pin combo today. I saw it this morning only to find it was Sold Out. Did anyone get one?
Is Disney just messing with us, showing us the “Oh, we found one more box of desirable vinyls in the warehouse”? They obviously sold out quickly, but left it up ALL day on the site. They had the 9″ Animal up earlier today, but now it is gone. If they are not messing with us, why not take the HM set down like they did the Animal?
I was able to order a HM hat set…though I wont believe it til its shipped
