A Look at New Fantasyland From High Above Cinderella Castle

Some Walt Disney World cast members were sent pictures taken from the large crane that was over Cinderella Castle a few days back, and the look into New Fantasyland is exquisite:

The Enchanted Tales with Belle and Be Our Guest Restaurant show building

Belle’s Village including Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour Village Gifts

Work continues on the former Mickey’s Toontown Fair tents, they will open late this year

The Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid building

The Fantasyland Station looks great, but the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station is nowhere to be seen

The installed Dumbo spinner

An overall look

Not Fantasyland, but how often do you see this view?

I smell a new iPhone wallpaper…

  1. oh my gosh, now i know i never want to be up in a crane at the top of the castle yikes!!! besides that minor detail, looks like Fantasyland is coming on great, the more it takes form, the more exciting it gets, can't wait!

    • You too???  A custodial CM threatened my husband for holding the camera up and taking pictures "over the fence".  He said he "could really ruin our day" and report us as a security threat.  Seriously, if they don't want  you to take pictures A) make the fence higher and B) post signs and tell you.

  2. Man, but I hate circus tents.  I guess I understand the desire for one with Dumbo. The movie after all, takes place in a circus.  But those ToonTown tents really need to be deep-sixed.  They are serious eyesores.

  3. Can't wait to see what's open in September 2012 when I visit.  Loved the photos – but the one's taken from above the Castle make me feel wobbly!  I am not a fan of heights………
