Even more Big Hat Figures are being released in Europe. Just recently Vinylmation.com announced that Rome had their own special figure. Meet their Gladiator. Great looking saddles and uniform. Nice use of ears also. This figure is by Adam Colp from the United Kingdom. Colp also created the French Big Hat figure.

Speaking of those other figures, here they are as a reminder. So far we’ve seen figures for Paris, Dublin, and England. Anyone think they know who will get the next one?

I love this idea, by themselves they are simplistic but great representatives of each country, however they can still be collected as a series because of each one having a hat. I hoping to see more of these figures in Europe. However I don’t think I know anyone who collects vinylmation in Greece.
Possible ideas for future figures…
Viking for Denmark (similar to the 9″)
A mickey in warm coat and Ushanka for Russia.
The type of Sombrero which is black and red and has bobbles on them (what the penguins wear in IASW) and some sort of matador outfit for Spain
Alpine hat and lederhosen for German mickey.
etc….
Why do some have Mickey noses and some don’t?
Well the Gladiator has a nose piece that would cover his nose. Although you could probably see part of it, however probably the printing process means it was easier to remove the nose altogether.
Not sure why the French one doesn’t, perhaps it made the moustache stand out, but you could have still added the nose without too much trouble.
Also just read through my post, I’m getting confused with Gladiators, I meant to say I don’t think I know anyone who collects vinylmation in Italy.
