Tim Alcoser Photo Report: 12/25/2012

Tim went to the Disneyland Resort on Christmas Day and was able to capture some magic!

I was at the Disneyland Resort on Christmas day and took a few photographs of the hustle and bustle on one of the busiest days of the year.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is set to close on January 7th for a major refurbishment. Red Car Newsboys entertaining Christmas guests over at Disney California Adventure as are the cast of Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular.

Sleeping Beauty Castle is arguably the most spectacular this time of year, only to be complimented with Believe…in Holiday Magic Fireworks Spectacular and snow on Main Street USA.

Thank you for reading! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

    • I think your correct. Disneyland hit capacity today (12/27) and restricted entrance because of it to those without a hand stamp. I shudder to think what New Years Eve will be like this year.

      • You'd be surprised. New years last year didnt even hit capacity. The days leading up to new years are much worse than the actual day. Last years on new years I was in shock with the crowds around DCA.

  1. I can see my family in your Aladdin show photo! We spend Christmas Day at DCA and the crowds were not really a problem at all. Now, 12/27 at DL was rather nutso – but we avoided and still had a blast with no lines over 20 min.

    • Is your family really in the Pic? How exciting and awesome.

BTW, that specific Genie is the absolute best!

Thank you for reading the photo report.

      • Yep, we are the back row of the orchestra – just in front of the sound/light booth. I agree that the Genie was fantastic. His "It's not the end of the world, that was last week." joke was fantastic.
