Pin Trading Halted at Disney Parks

Update: 4/2/13 This was our April Fool’s joke. However, just think how easily something like this could happen. hmm…..

Disney has put an indefinite halt on guest pin trading with Cast Members at all Disney parks after a guest was injured at Hollywood Studios in Orlando on Sunday. Read the full story at our sister site Once Upon a Pin.

With pin trading put on hold, is Vinylmation trading far behind?

  1. if someone gets injured swapping vinyls then there is something wrong with them. A finger gets pricked and everything gets halted? talk about overreacting.

  2. The person in question filed a complaint about the sharpness of a pin!!??? Are you kidding? It’s a PIN for crying out loud! It’s supposed to be sharp on the end! Another example of someone being careless and ruining the hobby for everyone else! I am totally disgusted with everything being changed or removed because of a liability issue. Next thing you know, we will have to sign legal documents before we even enter the parks. Sorry for the rant! :)

  3. You guys are masters of the April Fools jokes. I’ve fallen for it two years in a row before being enlighten by my wife.
