If by now you haven’t noticed, Disney Infinity has been on my mind this week. The folks over at Zannaland decided to try something that no one has tried yet. They took one of the new Disney Magic Bands that are still be tested over at The Walt Disney World Resort and put it against the Disney Infinity Game Pad. The Magic Bands have built-in RFID so the Game Pad read it and unlocked an Easter Egg within the game.
The item unlocked was a Flying Fire breathing Dragon which can now be used in Toy Box Mode within the game. This is a really neat Easter Egg considering the story behind it.
So if you are one of the lucky few to have your wrists around a Disney Magic Band and you’ve bought Disney Infinity, give it a try. For the rest of us, I wonder if my new RFID enabled Walt Disney World Annual Pass will work…
Let us know in the comments if you find any other cool Easter Eggs within Disney Infinity.

Our band unlocked the dragon gate!
We got the dragon gate but we tried the refillable RFID mug and nothing happened. That would have been really neat.
It unlocked the dragon gate- once I placed the dragon gate, I got a whole new Dragons toy box. After you place the dragon gate, you may see the dragon up in the sky flying around and breathing fire. Very cool!
How can you tell if the band you have will unlock anything? Is it only going to unlock something once?
Placed the ban but how do you know if it unlocked anything or not?
where do you place the band? i have one but aint got a clue.
i
got a band from a friend ut dont know if he used it or not can it be used more than once?
