Over at Disneyland Park, the new Main Street U.S.A. bypass facade (which is themed to look like a Livery Stable) was uncovered today. Below you can see a collection of photos taken by our own Tom Corless who is at Disneyland currently. No word yet on when the bypass will open, but we’ll keep you posted if we hear anything about it.

I love that it’s a stable. Because don’t we ALL feel like cattle when it’s superbusy and we’re being herded out of the park? (Not slamming Disney, love the joke!)
Definitely!!!
As I noted in any earlier article here at WDWNT, this is the biggest change to the Disneyland Main Street facades since the old “livery” on the other side of the square was removed for the Emporium expansion in 1990. Bringing back the “livery” calibrates the “carbon dating” of the street as the time when gas lamps gave way to light bulbs and horse-drawn streetcars shared the road with automobiles.
And it looks good!
