On the cover of the June issue of Vanity Fair, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) re-unites with his trusty co-pilot Chewbacca, and is joined by some new faces: Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and a little droid who goes by the name of BB-8. has released online a preview of the upcoming issue which finally reveals that Adam Driver will be playing Kylo Ren. Prior to this, it was just assumed that Driver was Kylo Ren. They also reveal that Lupita Nyong’o’s is indeed a CGI character and she will be playing Maz Kanata, some kind of space pirate. They also hint that the reason why we have yet to hear Daisy Ridley’s character’s Rey’s last name is because it is a familiar name, either Skywalker or Solo.

Vanity Fair has also released a behind the scenes video of the special Star Wars photo shoot by Annie Leibovitz.

This Vanity Fair issue will be available digitally on May 7th and through newsstands on May12th.
