If you enjoy any of the current designs used for the guest celebration buttons at the U.S. Disney Parks, I suggest you grab some soon because new designs are on the way. As the inventories of the old buttons begin to run out, new designs will be introduced.
To streamline the process, the current “Just Married”, “Happy Anniversary”, and “Happily Ever After” buttons will be condensed into one new “Happily Ever After” button.
These buttons can be found at Disneyland Resort guest relations locations, while Walt Disney World is now urging guests to obtain theirs at retail locations rather than wait in a line at guest relations.
WDW has them at any retail location?
Any idea how long they will have the old design and if they new birthday one will be out by end of Feb?
The new buttons will be introduced this week as the old supply is depleted.
Interesting removal of the “marriage = man and woman” implications on the Just Married buttons. This is more Politically Correct.
Tolerance does not equal acceptance.
But in this case – it means complete and total acceptance as Disney has had for many many years. http://mic.com/articles/50847/5-signs-that-disney-has-supported-gay-rights-for-over-2-decades#.DhDwJqvrR
I was just at Epcot in December celebrating the anniversary of two friends who are both men. The server in Toykyo Dining restaurant was so friendly and a group of servers came out with dessert and singing a song to celebrate my friends’ anniversary. We were so happy and impressed with Disney. The anniversary button needed to be updated to make sure everyone has a magical day. Way to go Disney. No more debating “Who is Minnie and who is Micky?” Or “who is the prince and who is the princess?”.
What is this world coming to? PC is on the way out . Staying in the closet was a better idea.
I wish it was possible to “like” a comment on here!
Don’t take away happy anniversary!
I wish they would just change happy anniversary. Happily ever after is too honeymoon, and I really really loved our experience with the anniversary buttons. WE still talk about it.
No Happy Retirement pins??
Loving your new designs for your pins – no retirement pins???
The reason behind the change and most anything Disney does is money! Somehow, someway…Disney is saving money! That is the only reason Disney does anything anymore. To make a profit. It is probably costing them less to give out the buttons that they are going to be giving out. I would not be surprised if in the next few years they stop giving them out all together!
