The Daily Mail got their hands on some exclusive photos of set pieces from “Star Wars: Episode VIII”.

The most recognizable image is of The Millennium Falcon. At the end of “The Force Awakens”, we see the Falcon land on the planet Ahch-To as Chewbacca and R2-D2 watch Rey climb the Jedi Steps in search of Luke Skywalker.

You can see steps, but are these the same steps that we last saw in “The Force Awakens”? What seems out of place is the dark dead tree. I dont remember seeing that. Is this something similar to the cave on Dagobah where Luke confronted a version of Darth Vader? Could be just a tree but it looks out of place.

I’m not sure if these steps lead to The Jedi Temple that was mentioned in “The Force Awakens” or if it is just two different sets close to each other. It could be that Luke and Rey reunite with Chewie and R2D2 and journey to another area of the planet or the island.

This could be The Jedi Temple that Luke went looking for as told in “The Force Awakens”. We’ll have to wait and see when “Star Wars: Episode VIII” comes out December 15, 2017.
