It has been a good while since we presented a Walt Disney World photo report, so we get back into the act today with a trip to the Magic Kingdom:
The new lineup at Princess Fairytale Hall means guests can meet Tiana and Rapunzel or…
Cinderella and Aurora
All of the Frozen merchandise was kicked out of Sir Mickey’s
Minnie got her old dress back too
In a nice change of pace, they now have some other Fantasyland related merchandise, including Alice in Wonderland
Disney Parks recently released 6 new popcorn flavors (which we reviewed live last night on WDW News Tonight)
The Kingdom Couture collection was recently released, but I haven’t seen anyone actually buy any yet
The refillable popcorn is now available at the parks, the cool part is you can just keep using the bucket for refills as they don’t check when it was purchased
If the Little Mermaid bubble wand wasn’t cutting it for you, they now have a Flounder version
Still no appearance by the Muppets in Liberty Square
Something is clearly up there…
The Emporium was reorganized once again, now more similar to the original layout for merchandise
No more sorting by characters in most areas
The Swiss Family Treehouse is closed for refurbishment
Tarps are up on the Haunted Mansion for some facade work (and maybe something more…)
The Disney Parks Presents book and CD set is now available at Memento Mori
Haunted Mansion Tsum Tsum pins now available as well
The 3rd statue in the stretching portrait series was just released recently
Tsum Tsum series 2 pins now available in Frontierland Trading Outpost
Nets were added under the bridge in front of Splash Mountain to keep out alligators
Pecos Bill’s is pumping out ice water to take care of guests on the hottest days of the year
Some facade work taking place at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, a lot of foliage was cleared out
Not really a fan, but Tomorrowland Terrace got some new seats recently
I really hope whatever they’re doing at the Haunted Mansion is subtle. I can’t understand why they keep making changes to what is already their best attraction when there are so many other things in the parks that need attention.
Tomorrowlandterrace looks as dirty as my local McD….
What are you alluding to with the “and maybe something more…” concerning HM?
45th anniversary ok magic kingdom. … haunted house is one of the original rides… maybe getting a face lift and upgrade for the celebration?
I don’t think the Tomorrowlandterrace looks as dirty as local McD, it looks much more filthy at Disney, gross. Nothing like it was years ago. I’m scared to see what it looks like in 5. Hopefully Bob Iger’s replacement will give 2 cents about the quality of their theme parks. He sure didn’t. Even still, great photos, looks nicer than it does in person!
How long has the tarps been up on the haunted mansion ?
About a month I believe
Thank lord they put nets in splash mountain I’ve heard that a gator has actually jumped on and I see gators every day
