What’s new and exciting at the Magic Kingdom? let’s find out in our latest photo report:
The Swiss Family Treehouse is down for its once every 5 years refurbishment
Gator warning signs remain, but a few were removed around the Rivers of America
This new Haunted Mansion book is available in Memento Mori
Tarps remain up on the exterior of the Haunted Mansion
If you use the FastPass queue, you will merge at the beginning of the interactive queue, so it is mostly useless right now
Carousel of Progress’ new paint job looks fantastic at night
City Hall Restrooms are back
I would have taken pics, but there were people inside…
The front section of Uptown Jewelers is closed
Some new Toy Story merchandise was released at the parks recently
Enchanted Tales with Belle is open, but it is also tarped
There is no smoking area behind Space Mountain, so Disney is stressing this with signage now
New Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise featuring new style Mickey and friends is slowly rolling out
Antenna topper
Not sure how long this has been here, but in the queue at Big Thunder, there is an S.E.A. reference, which is the Society of Explorers and Adventurers featured heavily in the Skipper Canteen
So.. they removed signs from where there is actually an alligator in the area? Was just there last week and there is a small gator in that river.
I said the same thing when unread that, I was there 2 weeks ago and took pictures of the small gator in that very place.
*I read
There’s various sized gators all over WDW, let alone Florida. They’re just a part of the environment and always have been where fresh water areas are. If people would just leave the gators alone, as it’s been for most of WDW’s 40+ year history, there wouldn’t be a problem.
This is Florida so what do you expect. From GA to Key West FL there’s gators.
DISNEY WORLD
WANTS PEOPLE TO VIST THIS SO CALLED MAGICAL PLACE…..BUT THEY ARE NOT MAKING THE PROVISIONS TO KEEP THEIR VISITORS SAFE FROM HARMFUL CREATURE ENVIRONMENTS…..YES PEOPLE VISIT BECAUSE THEY TRUST THAT THEIR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF THEIR CHILDREN HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BY DISNEY THROUGH EVERY MEANS NECESSARY….DISNEY ADVERTISE THAT THEY ARE THE GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH….IF YOU INVITE SOMEONE TO YOUR HOME(WHICH YOU BELIEVE IS SAFE) YOU WANT THEM TO BE COMFORTABLE AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT VISITING….WELL DISNEY SHOULD DO THE SAME….MAKE SURE THEIR VISITORS ARE IN A COMPLETELY SAFE ENVIRONMENT…FAMILYS AND KIDS ARE GOING THERE TO ENJOY THEMSELVES…NOT TO WORRY ABOUT ALIGATORS OR SOME OTHER HARMFUL CREATURE….SO IF THEY CANT ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THEIR VISITORS….THEN MAYBE THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS…MAYBE PEOPLE SHOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY KNOW THEY DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING ATE OR BITE….TICKETS COST TOO MUCH A PERSON TO HAVE THAT CONCERN IN THEIR MINDS…MAYBE ITS NOT THE GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH….I THOUGHT SO MY FAMILY AND I…THATS WHY WE DROVE ALL YHE WAY FROM ARIZONA….BUT WE FOUND THAT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE….COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER….SHOULD HAD JUST WENT TO DISNEY LAND IN CALIDORNIA…..OR SIX FLAGS IN TEXAS…..WHERE THERE ARE NO ALLIGATORS ????
We have been to WDW many times and we do not worry about alligators because we do not get in the water unless it is a pool. From Arizona you could have driven to Disneyland but it is not the same as WDW. Many people love Disneyland but it is not as big and there is not as much to do. I live near Six Flags in Dallas and it is nothing but roller coasters. If you like that, fine, but it is not like Disney at all. Why did you even read this story if you dislike Disney so much?
In 2013 a 52 year old lady fell 75 feet to her death at Six Flags over Texas as well as MULTIPLE report serious injuries or death at various Six Flags across the country. Shall we talk about the many, many, deaths/injuries at Disneyland?! Disney does a very good job to ensure the safety of their guest so maybe if you’re worried they aren’t just suit up in a bubble next time. When you follow the instructions of cast members and signs, guess what??? Things go smoothly.
P.S. Snake bits in the DFW area are on the rise this year, enjoy Six Flags!
Please stop yelling
Yes, I must say, I stopped reading after the first line or so because the lack of lower case was headache inducing. I suppose that the all caps fit the fact that you are basically ranting on and on.
UPPER CASE ONLY = NO READ
I’m sensing I didn’t miss anything intelligent.
The S.E.A. letter has been at BTMR since they added they changed up the queue to add the interactive elements. I am glad people are noticing more now.
Any idea how long the Haunted Mansion refurb will take? I don’t see it listed on any touring site so it was a real surprise. Any chance it will be done by end of August?
I’m disappointed too. I have a trip with a first timer at the end of the month and not only is BTMRR and Dinosaur down, but Haunted Mansion is all blocked off.
