VIDEO REVIEW: Tom Attempts Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival

Part of this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a scavenger hunt featuring Remy from Disney-PIXAR’s Ratatouille. The offering was introduced last year during the event as something new for children to do as their parents ate and drank their way around the world, so I figured why not record a couple of full grown adults trying to complete something meant for children. Here’s what happened…

  1. Watched the whole video while eating lunch. I cracked up when she slapped that one sticker on sideways, lol. It’s a fun game, sometimes challenging (never would have guessed two Remys would be where they were in relation to the lagoon). I did it on my solo trip last November – a cooler time to do this activity. Bought two of the map sets, kept one myself but sent my two redemption pins and one of the maps to my nieces who collect all the Disney pins. I’ll admit I cheated on a few sticker locations (with a couple ladies dining next to me, sharing answers) but we had to fit in dining at the booths somehow, too. For some reason I had a lot of trouble finding the Outpost one last year, even with hints from the bemused CMs, and I wasn’t even tipsy. Good for you for not cheating or asking for hints!

  2. This looks like so much fun! Do you think it’s possible they will do one for the holidays? I’ll be there in December, my favorite time to be there. I love Epcot’s Holidays around the world.

  3. I hope that you are going to do Hide and Go Squeak next year too. (2017). Remy is my favorite Disney character, and although, I am 57 years old, I love to play!
