Director Gareth Edwards has just released the final poster (below) for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and by far this is the best one yet. We see Jyn Erso along with the other members of Rogue One, while Darth Vader and The Death Star loom in the background.

It was also announced that we will also be receiving the final trailer for “Rogue One” sometime tomorrow. We will post the final trailer as soon as it is available.

“In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.”

  1. Last trailer tomorrow and no premiere event promoted by Disney. By this time last year, the tickets went on sale for the Ep. VII premiere & after party at HS. Oh, well…

    • It’s definitely not “The Force Awakens”. That was a proper sequel and had everyone excited that we were finally getting a new Star Wars and familiar faces were returning. Tons of marketing involved. I think people are still confused about this movie. I’m sure some dont even know it’s a prequel. Bob Iger said this is an experiment and is not expected to make as much money as TFA. I’m sure it will do great box office with the return of Darth Vader but worried over rumors that Disney wasnt happy, re-shoots and new composer. Keeping my fingers crossed.

      • Re-shoots happen on every movie. RO is no exception. The re-shoots were just fan boy hype.
No. RO will not make TFA money, but I’m betting that the story will not be a copy of another SW movie either.

        • They had to look for a new writer for the re-shots, which were extensive so I wouldn’t call that “fanboi hype”

          • Quote from Felicity Jones:
“I’m sure if you picked up the phone and called every single large, technical movie and said, ‘You ever gone in and done reshoots?’ they’d all say, ‘Oh God, yes,’ ” she says. “So why has it turned into a big story? Because it’s Star Wars, and they put a spotlight and scrutinize every single thing that gets done. But it was always planned and nothing unusual.” In other words, these are not the droids you are looking for.
Jones plays down the reshoots as well. “Obviously when you come to the edit, you see the film come together and you think, ‘Actually, we could do this better, and this would make more sense if we did this,’ ” she says. “I’ve done it so many times. I mean, you wouldn’t just give your first draft on this story, would you?”

Fan boy hype. Move along. Move along.

  2. I started to stream GMA using my DirecTV app to catch this last trailer, but my excitement was squashed by the political bias by the MSM. Disgusting.
I’d rather wait to view it on YT.
