AT D23 EXPO 2017, DISNEY PARKS CHAIRMAN BOB CHAPEK ANNOUNCES NEW RATAOUILLE ATTRACTION COMING TO EPCOT -- Looking ahead to the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek announced exciting plans across Epcot to realize the original vision of the park while making it more timeless and relevant than ever before. Patterned after the number one family attraction at Disneyland Paris, Ratatouille will be added in an all-new space in the France pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot.

RUMOR: Ratatouille Ride Opening Date Revealed for Epcot

With all of the attractions announced at the D23 Expo 2017, we were not given any actual opening timelines or dates other than “before Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in 2021”. According to internal documents, the trackless Ratatouille ride in France at Epcot will be a bit ahead of that October 1st, 2021 date.

If sources are to be believed, the targeted opening date of the Ratatouille attraction at Epcot is May 2020.

Of the other attractions announced at the Expo, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open in 2019 (the May opening date has already slipped but we still expect it to open next Summer), and the Guardians of the Galaxy and TRON roller coasters will both open sometime in calendar 2021.
