As WDWNT continues to grow, we are looking for additional staff to expand our team. We are looking to fill the following roles immediately:
This position is an assistant to WDWNT CEO Tom Corless. Qualified applicants will reside in the Orlando area and possess an annual pass to the Walt Disney World theme parks. Duties will include:
- Support for the WDWNT website; experience with WordPress is strongly preferred.
- Administrative duties including scheduling meetings, coordinating staff activities, working with vendors, providing customer service, etc.
- Executive assistant tasks including booking travel, local shopping trips, etc.
Knowledge of Walt Disney World and The Walt Disney Company are required. Previous administrative experience is strongly preferred. Must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills.
Hours are variable but will be a minimum of 16 hours per week. Payment is hourly.
Qualified applicants will reside in the Orlando area and possess an annual pass to the Walt Disney World theme parks. Work hours will be variable, but will require travel to one or more locations on Walt Disney World property at least four days per week for a minimum of four hours per day. Reporters will be expected to write articles, take photographs, and record and edit video of attractions, entertainment and special events at the resort. as well as posting to social media. Prior writing, photography, or videography experience preferred. Payment is hourly for field work plus fixed payment per article.
WDW News Tonight Production Assistant
This position entails overseeing all aspects of the weekly WDW News Tonight production, including show scheduling, technical set-up, talent scheduling, video streaming, and audio mixing. This position requires specific availability on Thursdays from 6 pm to midnight at the WDWNT Studio on International Drive, plus several hours per week for pre-broadcast work. Video broadcast experience is strongly preferred, including audio and video mixing, camera set up experience, stage lighting, etc. Experience with vMix preferred. Payment is hourly.
Write articles on a regular basis covering any aspect of The Walt Disney Company. While there is no requirement to visit the parks, you must have extensive familiarity with Walt Disney World. Strong command of the English language is required. Experience with WordPress a plus, but all necessary training will be provided. Payment is based on output (per article).
Appear regularly on the WDW News Tonight weekly variety show and/or Back to the Future historical podcasts/broadcasts as a panelist in various segments. Must be readily available to record as needed, have a good quality internet connection and microphone/headset. A tremendous knowledge of Walt Disney World Resort is required. This is an unpaid position but is eligible for a year-end bonus.
Disneyland Paris Correspondent
Qualified applicants will reside in the vicinity of and possess an annual pass to Disneyland Paris Resort. Correspondents will be expected to write articles, take photographs, and record and edit video of attractions, entertainment and special events at the resort. Payment is based on output (per article).
WDWNTunes Station Manager
Manage the WDWNTunes internet radio station on Live365. Familiarity with Live365, Shoutcast, Icecast or similar programs preferable. Knowledge of Disney Parks music strongly preferred. This is an unpaid position but is eligible for a year-end bonus.
