Disney Adds Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and France Pavilion Expansion to EPCOT Park Map; Possible Attraction Opening By June 1st

In all of our coverage of the 2020 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, we noticed a small change that makes a big difference.

You may remember this park map from our coverage of the new maps and Festival Passport:

Let’s look a little closer:

And closer:

That’s right, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the France Pavilion expansion have been added to the park map ahead of its opening this summer.

In addition, the attraction has been added to the listings on the paper park maps.

In the section for the France Pavilion, the attraction description reads: “Join Remy as you scurry through a supersized world of Gusteaus restaurant.” It’s also listed as allowing guests to remain in wheelchairs or ECVs if they’re using them, offering assistive listening, handheld captioning, and audio description. In addition, La Crêperie de Paris has also been added to the dining listings for the pavilion,

So what does this all mean? Since the maps all have art promoting the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, there is a chance that the attraction and expansion may open before the festival ends on June 1st. That could accommodate crowds coming to visit for Memorial Day weekend from May 23rd to the 25th, considered by many as the unofficial start of summer. Again, this is all purely speculative, and WDWNT will report when we have word of an official opening date.

Still, while we celebrate the flowers and gardens (and food) of the festival, there’s a chance that a brand new attraction will come to bloom before it’s over.

  1. The Regal Eagle was on the map for a while, too, before it actually opened. We’ll see in a few months!

  2. What does this mean for the perspective of the Eiffel Tower? I’ve seen the France Pavilion from the back and it does NOT look good.

  3. Let’s not jump back into the ride speculating business so soon. We’ll all wait until that limey on YouTube tells us what’s what.
