Two More Disneyland Paris Cast Members Test Positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19)

With the spread of Coronavirus impacting more and more parts of Europe, it appears yet another two cases of COVID-19 amongst Disneyland Paris cast members have been confirmed.

Disney has not publicly confirmed these two new cases, but select Cast Members have been informed.

The two workers are also part of the same nighttime maintenance team as the first Cast Member to be confirmed with the virus, but no other details have been released.

Due to rising concerns over transmission of the virus, France has established a temporary ban on gatherings of more than 1,000 people in a confined space. Disneyland Paris has yet to comment directly on the ban, but many guests have taken to social media concerned about their upcoming trips. Disneyland Paris has, however, commented on the park’s heightened sanitation measures out of precaution for the outbreak. Just today, new safety precautions were laid out for various entertainment venues and restaurants, as well as changes to attractions, like the suspension of Single Rider queues.

Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo Disney Resort have all closed in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.

We’ll keep our eyes on developments here in Paris as well as in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong regarding the COVID-19 outbreak’s effect on Disney Parks operations.
