The much-anticipated reopening of the Disney Character Warehouse at the Orlando Premium Outlets (Vineland) has finally arrived! We’ve been keeping our eye on this location, and while reopening preparations were delayed, it seems the store was finally able to reopen today.
Crowds flocked to the now-open store, with guests waiting along some nearby seating.
The outlet store has a virtual waitlist in place where you check in with a Cast Member upon arrival and then wait to receive a text message to return.
Current wait times for the store are anywhere from 60 to 75 minutes.
As with at the parks, face coverings are required, and must have ear loops and cover the nose, mouth, and chin. Neck gaiters, bandanas, and face coverings with valves are not permitted.
Social distancing markers are in place for guests lining up once their return time has been called.
The social distancing markers span all the way out to the adjacent Under Armour store next door.
A dedicated entrance and exit is in place to control guest traffic flow.
Once our return time is called, we’ll make sure to provide you with a full tour of what’s available inside so you can plan your first trip back to the outlet. Will you be stopping by the Disney Character Warehouse this weekend? Let us know in the comments!
We’re going to pass. Last time we were there, we didn’t find the selection or prices that interesting.
But the bigger reason is Vineland itself. Parking is such a mess there that we ended up having to pay to park in the deck. We didn’t find Vineland interesting enough that we’d be willing to pay for parking again.
What about the other character warhorses around Florida?
Yes plz post about any changes and what merch is in the store! Wondering if some of the spring merchandise made it to that store
When does the one at Sawgrass Mills open back up?
My family and I just got home from the Vineland outlets. We were in the virtual queue for 1 1/2 hours and left as we couldn’t kill anymore time. About 2 1/2 hours into the queue I received the text to return to the location but we were already more than halfway home. The outlets weren’t terribly busy either. Ample parking and the other locations throughout seemed pretty slow. It seemed that most everyone there though was in the queue for the Warehouse.
Has the outlet at Orlando Premium Outlets opened as well? The one closest to Universal.
