REVIEW: The Mickey Monster Mash Burger Returns to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe for Halloween at the Magic Kingdom

The Muenster Smash Burger was a new addition to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party back in 2018. A new version—the Mickey Monster Mash Burger—has returned for this year’s Halloween season, so we wanted to check if it was just as good as we remember.

The burger comes with a side of french fries.

The biggest difference from 2018’s burger is the bun. Instead of a dark bread, the burger now has a more standard-looking bun with Mickey’s face on the top.

Our burger had a big portion of lettuce.

Along with lettuce and tomato, the burger is loaded with Muenster cheese, potato barrels, bacon, and sriracha aïoli.

Overall, we liked this burger. It’s not all that far from your standard Cosmic Ray’s burger, but the extra ingredients really enhance the taste.

The sriracha aïoli added some spice to the burger, but it wasn’t overpowering.

The Mickey Monster Mash Burger is available at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in the Magic Kingdom for $13.99.
