In addition to construction crews paving large areas of the dock site in front of Magic Kingdom, they’ve now installed a sign. The sign indicates this the second dock designated for resort launches around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.
The unearthed area hasn’t changed much since our last report, but it appears they may be getting ready to add landscaping soon.
From this angle, you can see where the sign has been added since out last report. Though we don’t see any other changes to this area, we can see that progress is moving forward.
Nearby, we noticed the temperature checkpoint erected along the sidewalk walkway from Disney’s Grand Floridian & Spa to Magic Kingdom. It sits near the monorail station, but only temporarily. The checkpoint will migrate to the docks when construction has been completed.
The area near the first dock appears close to completion with dock queue markings on the pavement. Construction and landscaping crews have a bit more work to do to make this area ready for the public, but they’re coming along nicely.
