Looking for more delicious pumpkin treats at Walt Disney World? Then you might want to stop by Disney’s Riviera Resort for a new pumpkin mousse. We picked one up today, so read on for our review.

Since the opening of Disney’s Riviera Resort, Le Petit Cafe has been one of our favorite spots to grab some freshly-baked pastries and expertly-made coffee. It’s located in the lobby of the resort (on the second floor), to the left-hand side by the gift shop.

Inside the coffee shop, you’ll find the glass pastry case full of their usual delicious pastries, plus a new addition in the form of a limited-time pumpkin mousse.

The mousse comes on top of a gilded tray, with a brightly orange-dusted mousse dome (in the shape of a pumpkin), plus a dark chocolate stem and milk chocolate leaf.

The mousse tastes similar to pumpkin cheesecake. It’s tasty and spiced just right. The colored coating doesn’t add any texture or flavor to distract from the mousse, either.

The crust on the bottom is like a cookie pie crust. It’s crumbly, delicious, and a perfect compliment to the pumpkin pie taste of the mousse.

Overall, this is a great dessert. The flavors were balanced, there was a cream cheese-like taste in the pumpkin pie.

It was deceptively rich and thick, though. We weren’t able to finish the whole thing, though we wanted to.

The presentation is fantastic and reminiscent of Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage.
