Tokyo Disney Resort Resuming Character Meet & Greets with Entry Request System Starting September 19

Tokyo Disney Resort is very quickly ramping operations back to normal, with the resumption of fireworks and a short nighttime parade earlier this month and the grand opening of the massive and highly-anticipated New Fantasyland expansion in just 12 short days, and now they’re ready to cautiously resume character meet-and-greet facilities!

Meet-and-greets at the park will utilize an “entry request” system, the same one which will be used starting September 28th to limit admission to the new attractions. Its unknown at this time if the system is first-come-first-serve or a lottery system, but the latter is a fair guess knowing Tokyo Disney Resort. The following greeting areas will be available through this system starting September 19th:

Tokyo Disneyland

  • Mickey’s House & Meet Mickey
  • Camp Woodchuck Greeting Trails

Tokyo DisneySea

  • ¡Saludos Amigos! Greeting Dock
  • Mickey & Friends Greeting Trails

Details are also unavailable as to how greetings will work—whether as normal or with social distancing protocols in place. Stay tuned to WDWNT as this story develops.
