More scrims have been added to “it’s a small world” at Magic Kingdom, which is receiving a refurbishment for the 50th anniversary of the park next year. It’s likely the attraction will receive new signage and the entrance will be switched back to the original location. However, these new scrims on the upper turrets of the building suggest a more major remodel.

Most of the attraction’s facade is covered with green construction walls and white scrims.

The new scrims are visible just above and beyond the main wall of scrims.

Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary is October 1, 2021, just over one year from now. While the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed construction, several projects are on track to finish in time for the anniversary, including TRON Lightcycle / Run, the repainted toll plaza, and the refurbished Polynesian Village Resort.
