The France Pavilion may not be ready as soon as we’d like, but things appears to be progressing nonetheless. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure may not open until next year, but the rest of the expansion continues to reveal more details. Take a look at what we’ve noticed recently.
Riding in our Disney Skyliner gondola, we approached La Creperie de Paris. Look at the new awning construction crews added below the sign.
We reported the appearance of the two long awnings earlier this week.
Construction workers finished the smaller awning located over the entrance and beneath the sign. We noticed the awning frame during our earlier update.
Construction lifts and cones remind us that a lot of work remains before we can walk these streets.
This almost looks like a complete Parisian neighborhood. Of course, no neighborhood is complete without people.
Now we make our approach towards Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Last time we inspected this area, the attraction warning signage wasn’t here.
From this distance it’s impossible to read, but you can see the sign mounted just left of the entrance.
The lights in the Ratatouille Courtyard appear to be on despite it being daytime.
Construction workers continue to work hard behind the scenes to prepare the expansion for guests. Hopefully, guests won’t have to wait too long, even if Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure doesn’t open for some time.
More construction equipment stands ready for use.
The promenade here looks wonderful. A landscaper has appeared along the water’s edge. He’s just performing a bit of Disney landscaping magic to finish things off.
That concludes our current tour of the construction occurring at the France Pavilion Expansion at EPCOT. We’ve been anticipating the opening of this area for quite some time now, and we can hardly wait for it. We’ll continue to update you about the construction progress and eventual opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, so check back often.
