Disney loves to immerse its audience in stories. Whether you’re watching a feature film, checking out the last shows on the Disney Channel, or visiting a Disney Park, the creators at Disney want you to feel like you’re in the story. Creating these storybook journals is another way to involve us in the stories we love. You can now find Robin Hood, Pinocchio, and Enchanted Storybook Journals at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District.

It’s time to grab your things and head over to Disneyland for a closer look.

Robin Hood Storybook Replica Journal – $24.99

Remember that adorable animated movie from the 1970s featuring Robin Hood and his merry men? Well, now Disney offers a storybook replica journal for you to commemorate the film.

The attractive cover includes a beautiful, but complex design, yet with the recognizable Robin Hood lettering.

The hunter green cover, tassel bookmark, and gold leaf pages give the book such an elegant design.

The text describes the connection the storybook has with the original film. Disney wants you to remember the storybook that appeared there and imagine you’re holding a piece of film history.

This artwork is reminiscent of the actual storybook in the film.

The table of contents covers the main events occurring in the film.

Of course, the actual story doesn’t appear in the pages of this book. As it is a journal, you are tasked with filling it with your thoughts, ideas, or stories. Along the way, you’ll have character from Robin Hood sharing the journey with you.

Pinocchio Storybook Replica Journal – $29.99

Next, we move to a lovely storybook replica journal paying tribute to our favorite living marionette.

The deep red cover with gold lettering and depiction of Pinocchio gives the book a superb look. That font looks amazing.

Those book locks really add class to the book. Don’t worry, there aren’t any keys.

Also, we find goal leaf pages taking us back to times when this practice was common. Though used occasionally today, gold leaf pages appeared much more frequently in the later Middle Ages… just about the time Pinocchio would have lived.

We find a similar connection to “storybook” scenes that we found with Robin Hood. The films certainly come to life when you hold this journal.

Inside, we find all the characters we love from Pinocchio. Geppetto, Figaro, Cleo, and Jiminy Cricket show up.

Of course the titular character takes the stage, as well. This time, he does have strings to hold him down.

Don’t forget Pinocchio’s conscious, that every helpful cricket!

Enchanted Storybook Replica Journal – $29.99

We didn’t expect an Enchanted journal. Merchandise from this film appears rarely at Disney Parks.

This design enchanted us, with the icon bird from the film, flowers, and the stylish décor. It almost looks royal.

Like the Robin Hood variety, this storybook replica features a tassel bookmark and gold leaf pages.

Unlike the others, the artwork inside the cover featured a scene from the animated portion of the movie.

The inside reveals the connection to the storybook from the opening scene of the film.

Here, you can write down your own thoughts and feelings with Giselle to guide you.

We discovered these books at Word of Disney in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. For those of you who can’t make it to that location, shopDisney offers the Robin Hood Storybook Replica Journal and the Enchanted Storybook Replica Journal for the prices listed. Unfortunately, the Pinocchio Storybook Replica Journal doesn’t appear on shopDisney.
